The costs of private medical care are usually covered by insurance companies. Dr Burcombe is recognised by all major private medical insurers. All fees charged are within the range agreed by medical insurers.

Consultations
New patient consultations are one hour. Follow-ups are 30 minutes. Weekly Thursday afternoon clinics at GenesisCare Maidstone, occasional Saturdays at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells.
Fees
New patient consultations are £300 and follow-ups £150. A full list of treatment fees is available on request, all within insurer-agreed ranges.
What’s Included
Fees cover professional services for supervision of treatment. Drugs, tests and hospital charges are settled separately.

Keep Your Insurer Informed
It is important to keep your insurance company informed about planned consultations, treatment, scans or procedures. If you are concerned about your level of private medical cover, please seek authorisation from your insurance company beforehand.
Self-Funding
Oncology treatment can be expensive and patients should consider this carefully before requesting a quote for self-funding. Please contact Laura to discuss your options.
